Student dashboard

Shows students their progress against their own curriculum — clearly presented, without comparison to other people.

The dashboard answers one question: where am I in my degree? It brings your own records together with the current curriculum and shows your progress in a way that is readable without prior knowledge of study regulations.

Study-related data sits in several places at TU Graz — in the curriculum, in the transcript of records, in the registration systems. The dashboard brings it together and turns it into a view of your own progress. The only thing it compares against is your own degree programme, never other students.

What the dashboard shows

  • progress against the current curriculum of your own degree programme
  • ECTS credits completed and still outstanding, per part of the programme
  • your own figures in context, based on historical performance data of the same programme
  • all Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at TU Graz

Rebuilt 2022–2024

During those years TU Graz changed the way it models academic data, and the legacy curricula were phased out. The dashboard was therefore rebuilt technically and conceptually: modular and service-oriented, working with curricula as they currently stand instead of a copy of its own. What that means in detail, and which student feedback went into it, is described in the two publications below.
