At EdMedia + Innovate Learning 2025 in Barcelona, Philipp Leitner, Peter-Philipp Pranter, Benedikt Brünner and Martin Ebner presented the paper Empowering Students through Visual Analytics: A Dashboard Redesign for Modern Curricula — and received a Best Paper Award from the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) for it.
The paper describes why the study progress dashboard introduced in 2020 was completely rebuilt between 2022 and 2024, and analyses the feedback and usage data of its first five years.
