The language model behind the Course Description Chatbot has been updated to GPT-5.1 for compatibility reasons.
Since 26 March 2026 the Course Description Chatbot has been working with GPT-5.1. The reason was compatibility: the model used until then is not being maintained indefinitely.
Nothing changes in how the service is used: sign-in, the traffic-light rating and the quality standards of TU Graz all stay as they were. Which model is in use is stated in the key facts on the service page.
