FLAAIT emerges from the Learning Analytics group: learning data analysis together with Future Learning and AI for Teaching.
Building on the Learning Analytics group, a new group is founded at the service department Educational Technology of Graz University of Technology: FLAAIT. It brings the existing work on learning data together with the forward-looking topics Future Learning and AI for Teaching — the three focus areas behind the name Future Learning, Analytics & AI for Teaching.
Philipp Leitner takes on the role of group lead, Benedikt Brünner that of research lead. Learning data analysis thus remains at the core of the work, extended by the question of how educational technologies and AI actually support teaching didactically.
