# Course Description Chatbot now runs on GPT-5.1

*The language model behind the Course Description Chatbot has been updated to GPT-5.1 for compatibility reasons.*

Since 26 March 2026 the [Course Description Chatbot](https://flaait.tugraz.at/en/services/lv-beschreibung/) has been working with `GPT-5.1`. The reason was compatibility: the model used until then is not being maintained indefinitely.

Nothing changes in how the service is used: sign-in, the traffic-light rating and the quality standards of TU Graz all stay as they were. Which model is in use is stated in the key facts on the service page.
